During the German region's asparagus season from the middle of April to the 24th of June, the king of vegetables once again reigns supreme and gourmets and foodies can enjoy an especially delicious few weeks. And everyone knows that the royal partner to this delicacy is wine - preferably of course from Baden. Because there is such a great diversity of classic grape varieties there and the wines are so fresh and fruity. And if the asparagus has been grown along the Baden Bergstrasse, in Kraichgau, in Ortenau or at the Kaiserstuhl, in Breisgau or in Markgräferland, then gourmets will really get a taste of the harmony of this bountiful countryside. The flavour of the terroir from the asparagus and the wine will combine deliciously on your tongue.
